Mom's & Dad's Guide

The Mom's & Dad's Guide online is a great resource for moms! You can find all sorts of fun things for kids! They list activities, daycares, summer camps, classes, sports and even birthday party vendors! They also have some travel ideas and it looks like a classified section will be up and running shortly. The website has a forum you can participate in. You've probably seen their free little books at local stores, daycares etc and the website is even better!

Check them out today!

FYI: They are having a Kids Expo on Sunday, October 19th from 11-4 at the Totplex in Canton. Cost is $5 a family. You can get more info here.

Storytimes

I haven't been to the local storytime at my library in a long time! Now that my 5 and 8 year olds are in school, I think it's time to take my 2 year old to the libary for it. He loves me to read to him so I think he'll like it. Here's a listing of local library storytimes & events:

Carver Library
Halifax Library
Pembroke Library
Plympton Library
Hanson Library
Kingston Library
Plymouth Library

The storytimes are held on lots of different days so you could hit them all in a week if you're looking for things to do with the little ones!

Sauchuk Farm Corn Maze

Sauchuk Farm is doing their corn maze once again just off Center Street in Plympton. This years maze features 3 jack o lanterns and looks pretty cool! It's bigger than last years maze and they say there will be more family fun activities as well such as: hayrides, face painting, a cow train ride, corn box and a pumpkin patch. Last year they had food for purchase as well! The kids loved doing the maze last year and we'll definitely go back this year! The maze is open for business on Saturday, September 13. You can visit the maze on weekends from 10-5 through October 26. Admission is $13 for 13+, $6 for ages 4-12 and 3 and under is free. You can even print a coupon from their website here.
