Nessralla Farm's Corn Maze

Nessralla Farm has opened their corn maze for the season...it's a cool castle maze! It takes about an hour to do the maze. When you're done, there's still more to see like a petting zoo, climb the rock wall, take a hay ride or have the kids ride a pony.

Columbus Day weekend they are having extra activities:
  • Pumpkin drop each day at 2pm
  • Chicken BBQ on Oct 10 ($$)
  • Pig Roast on Oct 11 ($$)
  • Hamburgers & Hot dogs on Oct 12 ($$)
Maze admission is $8.00/adult, $6.00/kids 4-12 and free for kids 3 and under. Hay rides cost $2. You can print a money saving coupon here.

They are open Saturdays & Sundays from 10-6 until October 31. Visit their website for more information.

CapeCodKidz.com

I came across this website today, CapeCodKidz.com. A great resource for lots of child related things to do & see on the Cape. They have a very extensive Events Calendar not to be missed if you live on the Cape or want to plan a trip.

I really like their Kids Friendly Lodging section so you can find places that really are kid friendly. Even better is their Restaurant Reviews done by kids themselves!

Go check out this website before planning your next Cape vacation or daytrip!

The Sandwich Fair

Last year was the first year we ventured north to New Hampshire and went to the Sandwich Fair....and we're returning because we loved it so much! If you're a fan of the Marshfield Fair, you'd like the Sandwich Fair.

The Sandwich Fair has midway rides which are are favorite of the kids. They also have 4h animal exhibits as well as live shows & performances. I like that they open at 8am...so you can get there early and enjoy the ride specials from 8-2 (only $15!) You can see a full schedule of events on their website.

It's up on Route 109 in Center Sandwich and is always held on Columbus Day Weekend. I'd say it's a good 3 hours from us here on the South Shore so I'd plan on a long day trip or staying up in the area (we camp up near there).
