Drama Kids and a giveaway!

Looking for a fun place for your child to show their creative side?  Need to boost your child's confidence, self-esteem and speaking skills?  Drama Kids provides remarkable creative drama education for children and dramakidsyoung adults age 4-16.  They have many locations for your convenience.  Check their website for a location near you.  They are currently enrolling  for their Spring performance session which culminates in a staged performance for family and friends.  Class size is limited and students must be signed up by February vacation to reserve their spot in this performance session.

February Vacation Broadway Camp

JM Productions is  having Broadway Camp over February Vacation.  Students in grades 3-12 can attend and learn music and dance selections from the hit TV show Glee.  The camp runs February 21-25 from 10-4pm.  (early and late drop off available for an additional fee).  Cost is $175 per student….it equals just $5.83 an hour!

The camp will be held at Center Stage Studio in Quincy.  Enrollment is limited to 25 kids so register early!  Contact JM Productions at to register or for more information.

Two new students can win $50 off tuition for Broadway Camp!  All you have to do is email  with the name of the person on the front page of JM Production’s website who is teaching Broadway Camp and what show he was in on a national tour!  Winners will be picked on Wednesday.  Good Luck!

Paint your own Pottery at Claychick and a giveaway

Have you heard there’s a new paint your own pottery place on the South Shore?  Claychick recently opened their doors in Plymouth! 

She’s got a ton of stuff going on monthly at Claychick!  So many excuses to get out and get creative:

  • Walk in pottery painting is just $8 per person plus the cost of your piece and she’s got a lot to choose from!
  • Ladies nights is every Thursday night and the cost $15 person plus your pottery…you can even bring your own wine, beer and snacks.  Great excuse to meet up with your girl friends!
  • Teen Nights are the second Friday each month and cost just $10 plus pottery…snacks, drinks and music is provided!
  • Birthday parties are fun at Claychick!  $75 for 90 minutes plus the pottery of choice.
  • Saturday morning clay workshops where you can actually make a clay project!  $25.

Claychick is located at 34 South Park Ave in Plymouth.  They are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:30 to 6:30.  Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 12-5.  Closed on Tuesdays.

OB/GYN Care Focus Group Participants Needed

Are you a resident of Marshfield, Pembroke, Duxbury, Kingston, Carver, Plymouth, Middleboro, Halifax, Plympton, Wareham, Sandwich, or Bourne? Are you willing to talk about your OB/GYN experiences? The Southeast Center for Healthy Communities, a program of Health Imperatives, is seeking women in these areas, ages 20-40, who have given birth within the last five years or are considering having a baby, to participate in a confidential focus group about OB/GYN care on the South Shore. Information from this group will help to identify OB/GYN needs in the region. The focus group will last for 90 minutes, and all participants will receive a $50 Visa gift card.

JM Productions Classes & a giveaway

Does your child love having all eyes on him/her?  Is your child dreaming of seeing their name in lights?  Then you should get them over to JM Productions in Quincy!  JM Productions offers classes that allow students to work with Broadway’s best, up close and personal!  They take students in Grades 2 through 12 with no experience needed.  JM Productions also offers camps during February and April vacations as well as during the summer!

JM Productions has a Master Class with 2 cast members from the Broadway musical “Mary Poppins” coming up on Sunday, March 6th at Center Stage in Quincy.   Geoffrey Goldberg, the dance captain on the tour and Nicolas Dromard, who plays the lead role of Bert, will be the instructors!  Cost is only $35 per child.   Class sizes are limited and students must be signed up by February 4th.  For more information, please email
