Tamworth Camping Area

Tamworth Camping Area in New Hampshire is a great little campground! We visited over Columbus Day Weekend. It's located in Tamworth, NH is about 2.5/3 hours away. The campground has nicely wooded sites and some sites are even riverfront! There's a small beach on the river for swimming. There's a nice playground, farm animals for the kids to feed and even a small mini golf course. You can access their wi-fi at the arcade & up by the store. The employees were very courteous. Tamworth is a basic, no frills campground but we'd definitely go back...and it's location is is close to lots of attractions.

Home Depot Kids Workshops

The Home Depot has a FREE kids workshop on the first Saturday of every month between 9and noon! The program is geared towards kids 5-12. The do it yourself workshop is different every month. Each kid gets an orange apron and an achievement pin as well. Check your local store for projects!

Halloween Spooktacular at Borders

Borders Stores are having a halloween event Saturday, October 25 from 2-4. There's a costume contest, storytime, games, activities and more!

Daniel Webster Farm Day

Farm Day has been rescheduled for Saturday, November 1st, 10am-3pm. The event was rained out this year. You can get more info here.

Cost is $6 for nonmembers, $4 for members. Children 3 and under is free. Children wearing halloween costumes will get a hayride for FREE!.
